Adriana Castro Handbags in the Daily Suite

During Fashion Week, I was in NYC and had the pleasure to meet Pamela Pekerman, founder of Bag Trends. She attended our Spring/Summer 2010 Press Preview and since the first moment she saw our Sophia Tote, she fell in love. That day, she invited me to be part of the upcoming shopping party Arm Candy that will take place on October 7th, in NYC. This is just a Sneak Peek of the fabulous bags you will see at the party. These bags were at the Daily Suite. I will post more info soon, so stay tuned!

Sarah Jessica Parker carries Adriana Castro Eva Clutch in Sex and the City 2

Check out these pics of Sarah Jessica Parker carrying our Python Eva Clutch filming the movie Sex and the City 2. I don't have words to express my excitement. Carrie Bradshaw is my fashion icon and I am sure it's your too, so to see her carrying my clutch is just unbelievable, it seems so unreal. I just can't wait to see the movie. Do you know when will the movie come out?

Adriana Castro in Fashion's Night Out NYC

Last week, I was lucky enough to be in New York City for Fashion's Night Out. I was very excited to be at Henri Bendel for this great event. I featured my venture of custom - made bags. Customers could choose any style, then choose a skin and color. I really enjoyed it because customers got very creative. During the event, I met wonderful people. Lots of Bag Snob readers approached me and we even took some pictures. I also had the opportunity to meet Ana, from Purse Blog. We sat down and talked about the inspiration behind my designs. From the bags she photographed, her favorite was the Modish Clutch in Blue Jean Stone Wash. Isak, the famous fashion illustrator was there too. I was very impressed by his talent. Also, I met Robert Verdi, celebrity stylist. He is by far one of the sweetest and cutest stylists I have ever met. And when the night was almost over, I saw Lindsay Lohan! Adriana Castro Runway in Caracol Tv

Right now in Miami is so hot and humid that I don't feel we are in Fall yet. The good thing about this is that I can look at Spring 2010 runways and really imagine myself carrying those clothes and bags as of NOW! That is why I decided to share with you today a video of the runway I did a couple of weeks ago in Bogota, Colombia. Let me know which is your favorite bag!

Looking Forward to a Great Week!

I am sitting in the back seat of a cab in NYC on my way to the hotel. I just stepped out from the press viewing my publicists Beth Thomas Cohen and Beth Overzat are doing. Today was the first day and everything went great! Lots of fashion editors attended. They had some champagne and treats while they enjoyed our new Spring 2010 Collection. Check out our Python Coco Clutch in Turquoise, one of the many pieces they loved!

Adriana Castro in Caracol Dia a Dia

I was invited as guest of honor to present a fashion show at the opening of the 20th version of the International Footwear and Leather Show. I spent two incredible weeks in Bogota, Colombia doing interviews and preparing for the big day. It was a lot of work and nights without sleep but at the end it was all worth it. I am so grateful with the team that made it happen. Check out one of the interviews I did during my visit. More to come, so stay tuned!

Testing my new iPhone Application

Today, for the first time in years, I shut down my computer around 7:00 pm. It's almost 12:30 am and I just couldn't resist. While laying in my bed, I started playing with my iPhone and found an application where I can blog directly from my phone. How fab is this? Now I can post without even turning my computer on. We will always be connected. This is my test post. Good night. Sweet dreams.
