Last month, I was lucky enough to visit Turkey. I spent three incredible weeks traveling around the country. I visited beyond amazing places like Istanbul, Kekova, Antalya, Ephesus, Kalkan, Xanthos, Myra, Phaselis, Chimaera, Olympos, Gocek, Marmaris and Bodrum. Every place was magical. There is so much history and culture in Turkey that is very hard to describe it in words and that is why I will be posting some more pics from my trip. I can say that from all the places I have visited in the past, Turkey is my favorite! You know who was my travel friend? Our Python Meissa Hobo and Ostrich Meissa Hobo. I wanted to share with you some behind the scenes pictures of the Fall 2009 campaign photo shoot. I want to take this opportunity to thank the team who made it happen; Photography by Santiago Betancur, Makeup by Claudia Betancur, Hair by Marco Pena and Styling by Kathy Kopp. I am not a professional model, so for me at first it was a little bit challenging. The good thing is that I really enjoyed it. I enjoyed it so much that I have decided to be the model of future campaigns too!

Model? Designer? Or Both?

It feels so good to blog! I was really starting to miss you. I am really sorry for my delayed posts. Have you been wondering what I've been doing? Make a wild guess...If you guessed that I have been modeling our handbag collection, you are right! I mentioned in a previous post that I have received tons of e-mails from fashion editors, customers and friends asking me to model my designs.

So well, after thinking it over and over again, I decided to give it a try and model our Fall 2009 collection. Check out some pics from today's photo shoot (Please know these pics are still unedited but I just couldn't wait to show them to you). Once I get more pics, I will post them!

And please let me know if you want to see me as a model or should I just stick to be the designer? Or both?

Wish Me Good Luck Please!

Tonight, it's the first time I will be presenting a fashion show in my country, Colombia. I am so excited but at the same time really nervous. I hope everything goes well. These past few days were beyond amazing. I have received a lot of support from the people in my country and the media; magazines, newspapers, tv talk shows etc. I am really grateful. I want to thank you all. Without you, all these would not be possible. I have many exciting videos and pictures to share with you. I promise that after the show I will sit and post about all the interviews and all that I have done these past few days in Bogota.
