Adriana’s one of a kind, handmade, artisan pieces are wearable works of art for the most stylish woman of any age. Bold colors and sensual textures give each piece in Castro’s collection extraordinary character and personality. The handbags, wallets, belts and other accessories in the collection are created with the intention to be mixed and matched; they are stylish, yet functional. Rich, yet delicate. Supple, yet sturdy. The versatility of her designs complement the finest couture or the simplest of casual. Adriana Castro’s designs embody the perfect balance of elegance and quality.
Adriana pursued her dream to build her business at Purdue University, where she received a degree in Economics. She further developed her knowledge of Accessory Design at the Art Institute at Miami International University. Media attention quickly followed with coverage in highly respected fashion publications such as Women’s Wear Daily and Vogue. The fashion industry further recognized Castro’s talents; in 2007 GenArt presented Adriana with the Fresh Faces in Fashion Award for Accessory Design. In June 2009, Adriana’s Modish Clutch received the Independent Handbag Designer Awards for “Audience Fan Favorite.”
Castro’s handbags and clutches are loved and carried by celebrities and fashion influencers including Sarah Jessica Parker, Eva Longoria, Jennifer Lopez, The Kardashians, Audrina Patridge, Heidi Klum and Shakira. Five of Adriana Castro’s Bags were featured in the movie Sex and the City 2. The genuine, exotic collection is available in high-end luxury retail stores around the world, including Henri Bendel and Harvey Nichols.
